ATG Festival Competition 2022

atgaccordionistste

Congratulations to all our competitors for the time and effort they put into preparing for this year’s competitions and their subsequent excellent results. In all categories, the contestants each competed against a mark of 100. They performed for a panel of two adjudicators and the final averaged score determined their award (Superior 95 to 100; Excellent 90 to 94.9 and Very Good 85 to 89.9). Each contestant received a written critique, a certificate and trophy. Please see the attached for specific class and results information. The awards were distributed at the Saturday Awards Banquet and included in the program were performances by our three youth contestants Adam Fundak, Nathan Troxell and Zach Grindle.

A big thank you goes out to the teachers: Diane Young, Esther Lanting, and Kenn Baert and to our adjudicators: Michael Bridge, Dr. Herbert Scheibenreif, Joseph Natoli and Kevin Friedrich.

Beverley Fess,

ATG 1st Vice-President and Competition Chair
